Pakistan hopes to generate 60% of electricity from renewable sources

Pakistan hopes to generate 60 per cent of its electricity needs from renewable sources by 2030. According to the World Bank, renewable energy can reduce the country’s emissions and save about US$5 billion in fuel costs.
